Reports are out claiming that Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez wants to keep hold of Denis Cheryshev.
Marca reported that Cheryshev and his agent Ginés Carvajal met Real Madrid bosses at the Santiago Bernabéu on Monday.
The Russian international was linked with a move to Arsenal, Villarreal and Liverpool.
But at the meeting, the club informed the player and his agent that Benítez wanted Cheryshev in his first-team squad for this season.
