Reports are out claiming that Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo dedicated his five goals against Espanyol to his teammates.
Real’s players were there for their teammate during his seven-game goal drought, which was brought to an end in the most spectacular fashion at the Power8 Stadium. And Ronaldo appreciated the support.
Prior to taking to the training field on Sunday, the Portuguese star addressed the rest of the squad, dedicating his goal haul to them: “Those five goals are yours too”.
The former Manchester United star’s words went down a storm in the dressing room.
