It has been reported that Southampton boss Ronald Koeman expects a decision from Nathaniel Clyne over their new contract offer in the coming days.
Clyne, who is in the final year of his contract at St Mary’s, is being targeted by a host of Premier League sides including Manchester United.
And while Koeman has admitted it will be a challenge to keep hold of the England international, the Dutchman is confident he will sign a new deal imminently.
“Still confident that he (Clyne) will sign a new contract but I think next week we will know about his situation,” said Koeman.
