Reports are out claiming that LA Galaxy star Steven Gerrard has confirmed he will train with former club Liverpool during the Major League Soccer off-season.
Gerrard, who made more than 700 appearances for the Reds in all competitions, told BT Sport he would commence training with the Merseyside club next week but ruled out the possibility of another playing stint at Anfield.
“Yeah next week I’m going to go in for a couple of weeks and work with Mr Klopp,” he said.
“I’m looking really forward to that, see what he’s about and try and learn a few things off him.”
