Reports are out claiming that Sunderland are launching a bid for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini.
The Daily Mail reported that Sunderland are willing to offer £10m for Borini.
The Anfield club want around £12.5m for the 23-year-old Italian who enjoyed a successful loan at the Stadium of Light last season.
The deal is understood to break down as £8m with £2m in add-ons.
