It has been reported that former Tottenham boss Terry Venables has questioned Arsene Wenger’s behaviour on the touchline.
Reflecting on Arsenal’s defeat at Champions League opponents Borussia Dortmund, El Tel wrote in the London Evening Standard: “I’m not trying to criticise the Arsenal manager, how could I after all he has done for the club. Never forget, they’re in the Champions League year after year because of him. But I was thinking about the difference between Dortmund and the Gunners last night and looked no further than the two managers.
“For the Germans, Jurgen Klopp was super-animated, confident, looking totally in love with his team and how they were playing.
“By contrast, Arsene was… well, as Arsene always is. Steady Eddie.
“There was a little bit of the devil in Klopp, he’s like a barrel of dynamite and I just wish Arsene could bring that quality to the table himself.”
