It has been reported that Tottenham Hotspur’s £26million flop Roberto Soldado is inching closer to the Spurs exit door as Villarreal are said to be enquiring about his availability.
The 30-year old joined Spurs two years ago has only scored 16 times since arriving and is considered surplus to requirements by boss Mauricio Potchettino.
Villarreal are in need of a new striker after Luciano Vietto left the club to join Atletico Madrid earlier this summer.
It is believed that several Turkish clubs are also eyeing Soldado’s situation with a fee of around £11million looking enough to prize the Spaniard away from White Hart Lane. – See more at:
