United States 2-4 Czech Republic – Goals & Highlights Video

The United States’ World Cup squad hopefuls did little to impress head coach Bob Bradley as England’s Group C rivals were beaten 4-2 by the Czech Republic in Connecticut.

Bradley, set to name his final 23-man roster for South Africa on Wednesday ahead of the USA’s opener against England on June 12 in Rustenberg, rested frontline players including Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard and midfielders Landon Donovan, Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey.

Those auditioning for the remaining places in the US squad, however, failed to really seize the opportunity as the Czechs fought back from 1-0 down in front of 36,218 fans at Rentschler Field.
