It has been revealed that Watford face a battle to convince Genoa winger Diego Perotti about a move to Vicarage Road.
The Mirror claims that a bid has been accepted by Genoa.
The newly-promoted Hornets, who have offered to double his £15,000-a-week wages, must now persuade the player to snub interest from Valencia for a move to the Premier League.
Valencia are understood to have made a lower offer than Watford for the 26-year-old Argentinian.
But Perotti would prefer a move there and is understood to be holding out for the Spaniards to return with an improved bid.
