Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has revealed that he has no problem playing in the shadow of strike partner Dimitar Berbatov this season.
The England international striker only scored three times this season compared to the fourteen goals scored by the Bulgarian striker.
Yet there is no sense of jealousy from Rooney’s side, merely a hope that their productive partnership can continue.
“I enjoy playing with Dimitar,” Rooney told the official Champions League magazine.
“If we are playing well together it is the product of us playing and training together for years.
“You start to learn which movements he will make, when he will pass the ball and when he will shoot. He is fantastic to play with. He can do things that are really special.”
