It has been reported that Manchester United striker Federico Macheda could be staying in England this season.
The Italian youngster will be available on-loan and been linked with a return to Italy.
However the Sunday Mirror reported that Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa are keen on the 19 year old striker.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: “If any club comes along and convinces the player and me that he’ll get games, they will be the ones we will be thinking about.
“He’s thinking about Italy, but I’d hope it will be the Premier League.”
