Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure feels that somebody may be trying to help the club win the title this season.
City are three points behind league leaders Manchester United after the reigning champions drew 4-4 with Everton on Sunday after leading 4-2 late and Toure believes that result may have been some divine intervention.
“The club has wanted the Premier League for a long time,” he told The Daily Mirror.
“And in my opinion we have somebody who is trying to help us because to see United lead 4-2 end up 4-4 is incredible.
“We are very happy with the results and Sunday was a fantastic day for City. We have a second chance and I hope we take it because it is very important to us.
“We have the team to win all the games. We have the quality and the mentality to win all these games.”
